Then when its saved, it won't change others. When you set the NPC, DONT tie the Bar to an attribute, just enter it as like 40/40. 4) With NPC tokens, if the bars are set as hp etc, every new NPC dragged from the list is an original, so changing bar values on one does not affect others. Most people are likely to have standard approach so allowing them to not have to fill in the fields every time would be very handy. 3) On tokens, have a method to preset what the bars are set as - such as hp, ac etc. Hold shift and double click on the token. At the moment I need to do a seperate search to find what I need which feels like double handling. 2) If a token is connected to an NPC sheet, you should be able to double click to bring up the sheet. If not though if anyone could think of a way to split the input of the text that is in the "Content" area between two text areas I had 2 ideas that didnt work so far :P but that was all. My question was if you'd think it would be possible to either add a new field for some thing like "Higher Spell Slot Description/Effect/Content" so What was written in the 3rd paragraph could go in a separate box on my char sheet for example for fireball the third paragraph is "At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 3rd." so that can be in its own neat space vs at the bottom of description, and if that would just make things too bulky adding another attribute I get that it was a suggestion / question. Also the Higher Spell Slot Dice, and Higher Spell Slot Dice attributes work fine the way i coded them in my sheet aswell and had no issues with those worked on first try before i even dealt with description/ content. To try to do a better job : I found the "content" attribute which was the main thing I was looking for, sorry for missing that at first and it does what i wanted which is give me the spell description that is in the compendium. Thanks for the response but what my question meant it may have been a little unclear as I scribbled it last night. We're working on getting it integrated into the OGL sheet. Thanks ! There should be an attribute called "Highter Spell Slot Dice" and "Higher Spell Slot Die" for each Spell now. Or if i missed that part too :P If not no worries just asking / curious / giving input. said: Kevin K.(Desu) said: Higher Spell Slot Dice, and Higher Spell Slot Dice or.

Yeah, we have no problem paying a little more b/c of the additional axles, but 5x more is just ridiculous and a ripoff. When we travel out that way again we are looking at NOT taking the Indiana Tollroads. This year, with towing the pup, that exact same trip cost us $42 and some change. Last year, on one of our two trips from NY to MN, we paid a little over $8.00 to travel on the Indiana Tollway that's going the full length of it without getting off at all. I guess we figured it'd be a little more than the usual, just like NY. What we didn't really look into was what the increase in toll would be in Ohio, Indiana or Illinois. When we were looking into this, we saw that we would be paying a little more toll for towing the pup, but didn't have a problem with that. We checked, and here in NY, they require a different transponder (blue), so we now have that one for when we are towing our pup. We just got back from our maiden voyage with our N2U pup, a 2007 Fleetwood Avalon, which has two axles giving us a total of four axles now. Not sure if there were any discounts in Ohio or Indiana or even in NY. Have absolutely loved it for not only the time savings, especially around Chicago (which, btw, there is NO good way around), but also for the 50% off tolls in Illinois. We don't have to pay a monthly fee (years ago that used to be the case) whether we use the pass in a month or not.Īnyway, we've used this EZPass for several years now and numerous trips to and from Minnesota. It's the regular white transponder for normal automobiles (2 axles). We live in NY and have an EZPass for our normal travels around here (Buffalo area). Found this thread and thought I'd ask my question here. There is a weighty loneliness to these poems. While ADUs have begun trickling back into communities in recent decades, the single-family-only home trend has dominated to the present. ADUs decreased precipitously as single-family zoning proliferated and lots occupied by one home with a yard became the American ideal. In the years after World War II, ADUs gradually fell out of favor as rapidly expanded suburbanization and an accompanying growth in preferences for larger lot sizes and lower density triggered zoning laws reflecting these trends. ADUs frequently provided space for aging relatives to remain living with their families. Often homeowners would build a small dwelling on a new property, then add a main house as the family grew. For centuries, it was common for property owners to add over-the-garage and basement apartments or build carriage and gate houses. There once was a time when ADUs were a popular housing option in the United States. A Popular Housing Option Once Upon a Time If ADUs became a trend, it would make a substantial impact on alleviating the housing shortage. There are millions of single-family homes in Massachusetts. ADUs also usually house only one or two people, so the impact on utilities is minimal.Ībsent single-family zoning restrictions, every homeowner across the state (or country, for that matter) would be free to add an ADU and house a renter in affordable fashion. Sometimes, as in the case of renovated basement, attic or over-the-garage apartments, they don’t add any square footage to an existing structure. In some cases, ADUs can be built as of right, without the requirement of special permits.ĪDUs are typically small and therefore require only a modest addition to the building footprint. Often these units can be built without the need of an architect or developer, and are sometimes even built or renovated by the homeowners themselves. For one thing, the addition of an ADU to a single-family property can usually be managed relatively cheaply – $50,000 or less – and paid for by the property owner. (Image: cc sa-by pinterest.) ADU Advantages Over Multi-familiesĪccessory dwelling units can be a highly advantageous option for providing housing in contrast with other housing formats, such as duplexes, triplexes and multi-unit buildings. And ADUs often make for desirable living spaces because the landlord is on the premises and is therefore more likely to tend to maintenance, upkeep and aesthetics, and to keep noise to a minimum.ĪDUs such as this tiny house at the back of a residential lot could add to the state’s affordable housing stock and help provide a solution to housing crises. Because the square footage of ADUs is small, rent for such units is usually relatively low. It can also provide additional income for homeowners who might rent out their ADU.ĪDUs can be a solution for renters seeking affordable housing. In the right circumstances, ADUs can allow homeowners to provide a living space for an aging relative or a child in college. ADUs can be attached to the main house, such as an attic or basement apartment, or may be detached, as an apartment over a garage, for example, or a converted carriage or pool house. Further size restrictions and other regulations may be imposed by specific municipal ordinances. According to the housing choice law, Chapter 358 of the Acts of 2020, ADUs must be restricted in size to either no more than half of the principal dwelling on the property or 900 square feet, whichever is smaller. Most often, these dwellings have one bedroom, but some have a studio-style layout, and a small percentage may have two bedrooms or more. ADUs have their own dedicated entrances, and their own kitchens and bathrooms. What Are ADUs?Īccessory dwelling units, also commonly referred to as in-law apartments, add-on apartments, mother-in-law apartments, “granny flats” and other terms, are smaller, separate dwellings on a property with a larger dwelling. And while a few communities, such as Salem and Arlington, are pushing forward with ADU zoning changes, several fronts of resistance to this once-popular housing option remain. So far, however, there is little evidence of a rush to pass zoning changes that could ease the ADU building process.Įvery one of the 350 towns and cities under the auspices of the state’s Zoning Act has its own local zoning ordinances. More ADUs could have an important positive impact on the state’s affordable housing stock over time. Accessory dwelling units come in many shapes, sizes and configurations, such as this detached over-the-garage apartment.
